Pharrell Plays Full Version of Gwen Stefani's "Spark the Fire" In Concert: Watch

Pharrell Williams headlined the 3rd Annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival at the Los Angeles Coliseum on Saturday, November 8. He treated his hundreds of fans with a setlist made of his best N.E.R.D hits, solo hits and Daft Punk hits. However, not all the songs played at his LA show included vocals by him. There was an exception…and a very exciting one! Remember Gwen Stefani’s new song “Spark the Fire” which the pop star previewed a few weeks ago during an interview on the “Baby Don’t Die” radio tour? Well, this song, to be featured on her upcoming third solo album, was “played” by Pharrell IN ITS ENTIERTY on Saturday night!!! Freak out!!!
“Spark the Fire” is so “old Gwen” and that means “hot stuff”. “Baby Don’t Lie” SO has its days count. “Spark the Fire” is undoubtedly going to become the next single, and I bet it’s going to be released very soon due to the very cold reception “Baby Don’t Lie” is having right now.
Why did Pharrell play the full song at his show you ask? Well, he is the PRODUCER of the song so I guess he has some power over it, huh? Will Interscope be happy when they find out Pharrell played the whole thing already? Probably not, but maybe that will bring happy news for us because they’ll be forced to put out the HQ studio version sooner!
Am I loving “Spark the Fire” in full? Hell yeah! Loved the snippet, and loving it in full. But I’ll definitely want to listen to it in its HQ studio version so I can appreciate that banging beat better.
