Following the surprise realese of his acclaimed single “Chains“, American singer-songwriter, and actor Nick Jonas has ready the next one! You must be ready.
The singer is currently working on his upcoming self-titled debut solo album “Nick Jonas” (second if we consider “the Administration“), scheduled to be released on November 10, 2014 via Island Records. About the new single, he said:
It’s a little bit more up-tempo. It’s a fun song with a topic I think a lot of people relate to. It will make you get up and dance a little bit but it still has a little bit on the dark side
“Jealous” was written by Jonas with the collaboration of Simon Wilcox and Nolan Lambroza. It was released on iTunes on September 8th. The music video directed by Peter Tunney and Ryan Pallota was premiered on VEVO on September 16th.
Jonas premiered a re-worked version of the single with the extra vocals of American singer-songwriter Tinashe on November 3rd through 99.7 [NOW!]. The new version was released on digital retailers on November 5th.
The duo performed live for the first time the new version of the song on 106&Park on November 5th. A promotional video performing the song with a gospel choir was premiered on VEVO on November 10th.
