Fresh after premiering his “Uptown Funk” collaboration with Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson has announced his upcoming fourth studio album! Titled Uptown Special, the LP is the follow-up to 2010′s Record Collection and will be inspired by Ronson’s early days as a DJ. He teamed up with Grammy-winning producer Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Lana Del Rey, Beyonce) to create the album in NYC, London, Memphis & Los Angeles studios.
Pultizer Prize winner Michael Chabon, Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker, Hudson Mohawke and Emile Haynie all play roles in the project as well. Look out for Uptown Special when it releases on January 27, and catch Ronson perform with Mars on Saturday Night Live on November 22.
