Last night (February 28) at the Country Radio Seminar, Kelly Clarkson premiered a new song, “Ain’t Gonna Like This,” while backed by country music trio Pistol Annies. Clarkson co-wrote the track with guitarist Aben Eubanks, as she did for My December‘s “Sober” and Stronger‘s “Standing in Front of You.”
While radio station New Country 100.7 caught some of Clarkson’s “Ain’t Gonna Like This” performance aboard the Sony Music Nashville boat, RaeLynn accidentally recorded a snippet of the studio version while sitting next to her Voice coach Blake Shelton. (The Pistol Annies lineup includes country superstar Miranda Lambert, who is married to Shelton.)
Clearly, Clarkson is stoked to be in such good company.
