R&B singer Ciara is apparently releasing yet another single – this one titled, “Body Party”. CiCi shared the artwork via Instagram early Friday afternoon, writing, “My Body’s Your Party Let’s Get It Started.. #BodyParty.” “Body Party” would be the third release from her long-awaited studio album One Woman Army, which currently has no release date. The album’s official lead single “Sorry” was released last September and has peaked at No. 42 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart to date. The song’s followup, “Got Me Good,” was released in November and failed to chart on any Billboard chart. At this point, Ciara needs a miracle. Yes, I like her and the video for her song “Got Me Good” is fun, but nothing she released from this project was good enough to wage a successful comeback. I don’t even know what “Body Party” is about or how it sounds, but the name simply sounds generic and uninspired. If this new single fails, it may be time for this “one woman army” to call in for backup.
