Carly Rae Jepsen third studio album is called “E·MO·TION”



E·MO·TION” is the upcoming and highly-anticipated third studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter and popstar Carly Rae Jepsen.
It’s scheduled to be released this summer and it serves as the follow-up of her acclaimed major debut and second overall studio album ‘Kiss‘, released in September 14, 2012 via Interscope Records.
During and interview with Idolator in 2013, Jepsen shared that the upcoming record incorporates pop and folk, and channels Robyn, La Roux, Kimbra and Dragonette as influences for the studio sessions.
She worked in the studio with Toby Gad, Samantha Ronson, Sia, Jenna Andrews, Sam Hollander, and her past producers, Josh Ramsay, Ryan Stewart and Max Martin, while meeting with new producers Benny Blanco and StarGate (Tor Erik Hermansen & Mikkel Storleer Eriksen).
The new studio album, still untitled, is tentatively due for release in the first quarter of 2015 via Interscope. Jepsen stating that she’s not going to rush with the album like what happened to ‘Kiss‘. Instead, she will be taking her time to make sure it has its equality. She has also claimed that she has been working with her current boyfriend, American singer-songwriter Matthew Koma in this new and highly anticipated musical project.
The first single from this new era is the catchy pop anthem called “I Really Like Youand it was released 2 March 2015. A second promotional single called “All That is scheduled to be premiered during her Saturday Night Live show on 4 April 2015.
