Nicki Minaj “The Pinkprint” | Two new tracks inspired by Enya

“The Pinkprint” is the upcoming third studio album by Trinidadian-American recording artist and female rapper Nicki Minaj. It’s scheduled to be released in November 24December 15, 2014 by Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records.

Straying musically from her second studio album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded“, released in 2012, which experimented with pop and dance musical styles, she intended to incorporate elements of her traditional hip-hop music in its follow-up.

The album comes preceded by the buzz single “Pills N Potions“, released on May 21st.The second official single is the track “Anaconda“, released on August 4th.

During and interview with NRJ Lebanon, Minaj confirmed that no dance music included on the album. She also said:

I have collaborations that are gonna blow people away on the album… It’s my best body of work. Everything that people have come to love from Nicki Minaj, I think we’ve managed to put it on this album without trying too hard

The third single is the track “Only” featuring Drake, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne, scheduled to be released later today.

During an interview with V Magazine, Nicki Minaj confirmed two new tracks inspired by Irish celtic singer-songwriter Enya. She said:

One of my biggest is Enya. There are two records early in the album where the airiness and the whimsicalness remind me of Enya, and I sort of crafted it thinking about her and the way her music makes me feel.
