Report: 'Most Of' Taylor Swift's New Album Produced by Max Martin. Bad or Good News?

taylor swift plays guitar in singapore Taylor Swift wants them #1s pouring down one after the other in her next album ‘era’. An article published on the latest issue of 'Rolling Stone' magazine sheds light on Tay-Tay's upcoming studio album, the follow-up to her 2012 4x-platinum 'Red’, CONFIRMED for release in the last quarter of this year. And hardcore fans of the country princess may not receive this article with open arms. Why? Because a Rolling Stone’ industry insider claims that ‘most of’ Taylor Swift’s next album is produced by Max Martin, and that this means the new album will be Taylor's 'poppiest' yet. Yey? taylor swift rolling stones magazine To clarify, this won't be the first time Taylor and Max Martin team up. Max produced three tracks for her on 'Red'; 'We Are Never Ever Coming Back Together', 'I Know You Were Trouble' and '22'. And all three tracks proved to be hits. But I am sure it’s not about the ‘hits’ what hardcore fans of Taylor Swift are most worried about. They’re going to be worried about Taylor losing her ‘essence’. She started with country, country music has given her so much, and for her to even think of doing a 95%-pop album would be disrespectful. Also, I wonder what does Nathan Chapman thinks of all this? He's produced the majority (if not all) the songs on Taylor's previous albums and for him being forced to step back to a secondary position in this new Taylor album must be a tad hurtful, don’t you think? Whatever the case, you just know Tay’s next album will be a monster-selling one filled with monster/Top 10 hits. Still, she will cause disappointment among her core fan-base by her decision to move further into pop.
