Nicole Scherzinger Spills Details On Solo Album #2 In Online Q&A With Fans!
Nicole Scherzinger has one dream. To be successful as a solo singer in the US. She ruled in her native country during her stint with The Pussycat Dolls, but ever since that ‘era’ was over, she’s been unable to return to the top of the charts with her solo career. She has managed, though, to be successful and popular in the UK where she got her big break thanks to her judge on the 'X Factor UK’ series. She released her debut solo album ‘Killer Love’ there in 2011, and she made many of her songs Top 10 hits in the country across the pond. However in the US, 'Killer Love' was never release even though she tried to by releasing one single there, the 'Right There' remix with 50 Cent. Now in 2014, Nicole has left Interscope and signed with RCA, and will be releasing her second solo album in a few months. Nicole's first market for release it appears will be the UK again, but in accordance to previous interviews, Nicole 'wishes' to release it too in the US. Why doesn't she do it though? Is she afraid of failure? She has to try! The new single ‘Your Love’ sounds pretty dope, sexy, and summery and it has it all to at least do an ‘OK’ job in the US. She has to tryyyy! Anyway, during a recent online Q&A with readers of Stylist Magazine, Nicole revealed a few details of her upcoming album: "I've collaborated with T.I. on the album - you never know who I else I might collaborate with... stay tuned” “There’s no title for the album yet - it will be worked out naturally. It's been a new process for me with this specific writer/producer team. It's been a very easy process and collaboration. My song On The Rocks which I'm excited about and Electric Blue and Heartbreaker - also some of my favourites.” “I'd love to do a Broadway show and I'd also love to do a world tour.” “Pretty won't be on the new album. I've done so many songs along the way and hopefully they'll all see the light of day at some point but I don't want to confuse things” So we’ll never get to listen to the studio version of ‘Pretty’ (can we make #JusticeforPretty trend on Twitter?), she's re-unites with T.I after doing 'Whatever U Like' back in the day, she wants to do a world tour with this album, and she's revealed three song titles from the new album. By the titles, they seem to be one ballad and two uptempos.
