Best Video Of 2013?

After voting for Best Group of 2013,now We are asking you to choose the best video of 2013.Here's the nominees:

Avril Lavigne-"Here's To Never Growing Up":Directed by Robert Hales, with photography by Ketil Dietrichson and art direction by Lenny Tso. On April 8, 2013, Lavigne began shooting the music video for the song, the second day of the shooting was on April 19, confirmed by Lavigne on Twitter and the official premiere was on May 9. The video shows Lavigne playing with her band at a school during the Senior Prom. It also features scenes of Lavigne and her friends having a fun time at the school, eventually causing chaos. It also shows scenes of Lavigne singing in an empty classroom, that eventually shows all her friends dancing and having fun. The video makes allusions to Lavigne's first video for "Complicated", wearing the same outfit and skateboarding.

Lady Gaga- "Applause":The music video was directed by Inez & Vinoodh and was released on August 19, 2013. It was first premiered on Good Morning America and was broadcast on screens in Times Square. Prior to its release, Gaga used her Twitter to reveal that it is inspired by the entertainer's passion for shape-shifting, further adding, "Would you do 'anything' for the Applause? Iconography in motion, as magic." DJ White Shadow further spoke about his collaboration with Gaga, saying "I watched the whole editing process. I went to New York with her and sat in a room for two days while she color corrected and went through the video frame by frame. She is such an intricate part of everything that moves, that it's all a part of the same vision... She's very into making sure that everything has its place. The video is really fun and exciting and she looks awesome in it..... It's Lady Gaga! It's a Lady Gaga video! It's a good video. It's really fun." On the day of its premiere, Gaga said that her team used a lot of different looks with each being very representative of different parts of her and her obsession with transforming. The video draws heavy inspiration from the arts, including Sandro Botticelli's Birth of Venus, Andy Warhol's depiction of Marilyn Monroe and John Galliano's fall 2009 fashion show. The video includes shots taken in both color and black-and-white, including artistic and complex scenes such as Gaga's head on a swan, a scene in a bird cage, and the singer seated in a large top hat, as well as more simplistic scenes including Gaga walking in a black outfit wearing a headscarf, and the singer using white cloth, with scenes similar to the cover art of the single, featuring Gaga in bright make-up. Throughout the video bursts of color are shown theatrically. As Gaga sings the line "Suddenly the Koons is me", she is transformed into a black swan/human hybrid.Gaga also wears hand-shaped lingerie and a seashell bra with matching shell decoration. Near the climax, the singer features in a purple, crystal-like scene, and at the end, the name of her album Artpop is spelled using hand gestures.

Britney Spears-"Work Bitch":The music video for "Work Bitch" was shot by Ben Mor, who had previously worked on the video for Spears and Adams' 2012 single, "Scream & Shout". The visual effects for the music video were provided by HOAX Films, who completed sky replacements shots, set extensions and cleanup. It is produced for Black Dog Films/Little Minx, executive producer Coleen Haynes and producer Tony McGarry. Spears revealed she was rehearsing for something "top secret next week", on August 29. Filming took place in Malibu, California, on September 7, 8, 9, and 10. On the first day, Spears tweeted, "Hot day on set... ;) A little dirty, little flirty, danced my ASS off. Stoked for tomorrow!" following the tweet up with a still of herself in a yellow and black bra with long, black gloves.Spears released a sneak peek of the video on September 26, 2013 through her Instagram account. The full version of the music video premiered on October 1 on The CW Television Network, during the second day broadcast of the iHeartRadio Music Festival. The original airing of the premiere in the United States was viewed by 1.09 million viewers and received a Nielsen rating of 0.4/1 in the key adults 18–49 demographic, up 33 percent from the previous night. Spears revealed that the video was supposed to have more sexual scenes; however, she edited many scenes out "because I am a mother and because, you know, I have children, and it's just hard to play sexy mom while you're being a pop star as well. I just have to be true to myself and you know, feel it out when I do stuff." Mor replied to the singer's comment, saying he never forced or made her do anything she didn't want to during the shoot, and continued, "she's in complete control the whole time. It was easy to make a racier cut only because of the extras and the cutaways, and that's it". Spears manager Larry Rudolph and father Jamie Spears also released a statement, revealing that "Britney is never pressured into anything. She reviews all creative and for her 'Work Bitch' video she discussed toning down some parts in finding a balance of sexy and being a mom."

Daft Punk Feat. Pharrel Williams- "Get Lucky":"Get Lucky" is a song by French house music duo Daft Punk, featuring Pharrell Williams and co-written by the duo, Williams and Nile Rodgers. It is the lead single from Daft Punk's fourth studio album, Random Access Memories. Before its release as a single, "Get Lucky" was featured in television advertisements broadcast during Saturday Night Live, after which Rodgers and Williams announced their involvement in the track. Small excerpts also appear throughout the promotional video series The Collaborators. Musically, "Get Lucky" is a disco and funk song while lyrically, according to Williams, the song is about the fortune of connecting with someone and not just about sexual chemistry. Following a leak days earlier, the single was released as a digital download on 19 April 2013. "Get Lucky" has since received acclaim from critics, and has spawned numerous cover versions and parodies. The single reached the top ten in the music charts of over 32 countries, and has sold more than 7.3 million copies as of September 2013. The song won awards for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.

Katy Perry-"Roar":Filming of the official music video for "Roar" began on August 7, 2013 and ended on August 9, 2013. The video was released on September 5, 2013, directed by Grady Hall and Mark Kudsi, and filmed at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. A 21-second teaser of the video had previously been uploaded on August 25, 2013. Nokia posted a two-minute behind the scenes video on September 4, 2013.On November 14, 2013, an extended 17-minute behind-the-scenes video was uploaded to Perry's official VEVO account.

Miley Cyrus-"Wrecking Ball":An accompanying music video for "Wrecking Ball" was directed by Terry Richardson, and was premiered through Vevo on September 9, 2013. The clip presents close-up footage of Cyrus emotionally singing to the camera against a white backdrop, having been inspired by the music video for "Nothing Compares 2 U" by Sinéad O'Connor.Interspersed throughout are scenes of Cyrus licking a sledgehammer and swinging on a wrecking ball. At first, she is shown dressed in a sleeveless shirt and underwear; as the video progresses, she is then shown wearing only Doc Martens boots.

Robin Thicke-"Blurred Lines":The music video, directed by Diane Martel, was released on March 20, 2013. The video features Thicke, T.I., and Pharrell casually standing in front of light-pink backdrop as they flirt with models (Emily Ratajkowski, Elle Evans and Jessi M'Bengue) who pose and dance. At various points, the hashtag "#THICKE" flashes, whilst towards the end, "ROBIN THICKE HAS A BIG DICK" is spelt out in silver balloons. In the unrated version of the video, the models wear nothing but skin-colored G-strings. In the edited version, they are scantily clad and the hashtag "#BLURREDLINES" is seen at various points. This is the second time that director Diane Martel and Pharrell join together for a music video project involving two differently rated versions. The 2001 video for the N.E.R.D single "Lapdance" also featured models in two variant editions, one of which, like "Blurred Lines", is a topless version. The video was filmed at Mack Sennett Studios in Silver Lake. After being on the site for just under one week, the unrated version of the video was removed from YouTube on March 30, 2013, citing violations of the site's terms of service that restricts the uploading of videos containing nudity, particularly if used in a sexual context. However it was later restored on July 12, 2013. The unrated video remains available on Vevo, while the edited version is available on both Vevo and YouTube. The unrated version of "Blurred Lines" generated more than 1 million views in the days following its release on Vevo. Asked about the racy content of the video, Thicke responded: "We tried to do everything that was taboo. Bestiality, drug injections, and everything that is completely derogatory towards women. Because all three of us are happily married with children, we were like, 'We're the perfect guys to make fun of this.' People say, 'Hey, do you think this is degrading to women?' I'm like, 'Of course it is. What a pleasure it is to degrade a woman. I've never gotten to do that before. I've always respected women.' " During an interview with Oprah Winfrey for Oprah's Next Chapter, Thicke clarified his comment about degrading women, describing it as a "bad joke", noting that the published GQ interview did not mention that he was doing an impersonation of Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy character while making the remark, thus not providing the sarcastic/joking context.

One Direction-"Best Song Ever":The music video was filmed over two days at The Temple House in Miami Beach, Florida. The video was directed by Ben Winston and written by Winston and comedian James Corden. It was released on the band's Vevo channel on 22 July 2013. The video, which is over six minutes long, features the band going into an office in Hollywood and talking to two executives named Harvey and Jonny (Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, respectively) after being led in by Veronica, the sexy assistant (Zayn Malik). Marcel, the nerdy marketing guy (Harry Styles), shows them photoshopped pictures of the band in ridiculous outfits and even has a choreographer named Leeroy (Liam Payne) demonstrate his ideas for new dance moves. Insulted by this attempt to box them into the boy band stereotype, the band erupts into the song and starts wreaking havoc by throwing things around the office. Interspersed with clips from their film, This Is Us, the band continues to destroy the office and even shows off a "dance routine," poking fun at their perceived lack of dancing prowess. The video ends as they nail a poster of themselves to the wall and Zayn spray paints the words "this is us" on it, presumably to let people know that they will continue to be themselves despite their growing success and popularity. The video broke the Vevo 24-hour record with 12.3 million views, although the record was later broken by Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball", which garnered 19.3 million views.

P!nk-"True Love":According Pink's official Facebook page, the music video for "True Love" was planned to premiere on July 1, 2013. The video was leaked online on June 30, on the website Direct Lyrics; however, a few hours later the video was released to her official VEVO account, a day earlier than planned. The video directed by Sophie Muller (who also directed videos for "Trouble" and "I Don't Believe You") features Pink, her husband Carey Hart and her 2 year old daughter Willow. It is the fourth music video that Hart appears alongside P!nk. The video is a melody of flashing and swirling colors. Pink stated that she has no time for a dramatic music video, (like her previous videos for "Just Give Me a Reason" and "Try", who show Pink's emotional and dramatic side) due to her being on her sold-out worldwide tour, backstage footage of which is featured in the video. Lily Allen was filmed separately; and during her short part in the song she is shown cutting vegetables and throwing them into a blender.
