Bruno Mars Readies Third Single "Treasure"

Bruno Mars will look to continue his hit-making journey with the upcoming release of his third single "Treasure," the follow up to his Billboard Hot 100 no. 1 offering "When I Was Your Man." The uptempo "Treasure" is a funky, soulful number with intoxicating lyrics: "Treasure, that is what you are, Honey you're my golden star, You know you can make my wish come true

"Treasure" is taken from Mars' Billboard number one sophomore album, Unorthodox Jukebox. His current single, "When I Was Your Man," handed him his fifth No. 1 single on the "Hot 100" chart and also earned him his sixth #1 single on Billboard’s “Mainstream Top 40” radio airplay chart, pushing him above Justin Timberlake and Nelly as the solo male artist with the most chart-toppers in the tally’s 20-year history. If "Treasure" follows suit, Bruno will continue his chart history run.

In related news, Mars is set to open the upcoming 2013 Billboard Music Awards, set to air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 19th (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on The ABC Television Network (check local listings). He is also a nominee for the event's Milestone Award.
