Katy Perry keeps the promotion for new album "Prism" going. She certainly wants it to become one of the must-buy presents for this Christmas! The Santa Barbara singer stopped by "The Ellen Show" on Friday (December 20th) to chat about her #1, fourth LP and to give Ellen the second televised interview of her with boyfriend John Mayer. On "Prism", Katy explained the differences with its precedesor "Teenage Dream", leaving behind the "cartoon character" she had created, and the more "mature" lyrics, like bringing her divorce from Russell Brand into some songs. Ellen congratulated Katy for her two new Grammy nominations and for being the new face of "Covergirl", before she invited (by surprise?) John Mayer on-stage to share the red couch with his pop singer girlfriend. John is a hilarious guy, it shows in this interview. Together, the couple described the idea and process of filming the music video for their collaboration "Who You Love".Katy and John also participated in a skit on "The Ellen Show" on Friday. They, in characters, peformed like they were in a music video from the 70s. Later on the episode, Katy took the stage to perform live power ballad single "Unconditionally".
