MTV aired on Sunday (March 16th) the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards. This year's edition of the awards, that recognize "the music voted best by college students", was taped on March 13th in Austin, Texas but was only aired by MTV over the weekend.
Performers at the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards were; Iggy Azalea and Lil' Wayne.
Lil' Wayne opened the awards with a performance of his old hit "A Milli" (from his sixth album "Tha Carter III"), followed by a freestyle. Late at the awards, Lil' Wayne walked up the stage to accept an award given to Drake on his behalf. Iggy Azalea was the only lady singer invited to perform at 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards. Well, she brought along with her a second lady. The Australian rapper performed her latest single "Fancy" with Charli XCX. This was the very first live performance (with both girls) of the catchy song. Have you seen its "Clueless"-inspired music video?
