British Boyband Rivalry: One Direction Rock 'Today' With Their 'Best Song' AND The Wanted at GMA

The two British boybands that totally hate each other and cannot, and won't ever get along, One Direction and The Wanted coincidentally performed today, Friday (August 23), at the two top television morning shows in the States; 'The Today Show' and 'Good Morning America', respectively. How funny is that?. It seems they're paths will cross a lot during their careers. They both are the in New York now, so probably they should try to get coffee together, or something, lol. Let the war be over, and peace reign. Anyway, back to the music. One Direction performed before a huge crowd at Rockfeller Plaza a four-song setlist that included; the band's brand new smash hit, "Best Song Ever", "Kiss You" (video), "Little Things" (video), and "What Makes You Beautiful" (video). They still look a bit tired from all the heavy touring, but put on a great show regardless. One Direction's less successful rivals, The Wanted took the 'GMA' stage at New York City's Central Park to perform first; their last year single, "I Found You" (video), and their recently-released, latest single from upcoming album "Word of Mouth", the anthemic, pop-folky, "We Own The Night". "We Own The Night" sounds and feels really good live. It won't be a hit in the US, though. As it DID NOT manage to be a hit in the band's home country of the UK, where it debuted a shameful, and embarrasing #10.
