The release date of their third album "Midnight Memories" is approaching (it will hit stores November 25th), so a new single was certainly required. One Direction gave UK radios the green light to world premiere on Friday (October 25) their second single, a mid-tempo song entitled "Story of My Life". Listen to the indie/folk number below. "Story of My Life" is co-written by Jamie Scott. It's definitely a new sound for One Direction. They've recorded ballads in the past, but this is their first indie/folk ballad. Many compare "Story of My Life" to something Philip Phillips or Mumford & Sons could record. It's a nice song, and Harry and Zayn definitely get the chance to shine in it. "Story of My Life" will be made available for purchase on iTunes starting October 28th.
