Selena Gomez's 'Come & Get It' Single Unwanted Track From Rihanna's 'Talk That Talk' Album?

So the single wasn't written about Justin Bieber, but was Chris Brown the subject?Selena Gomez's new single 'Come & Get It' fuelled speculation that the singer is hoping for a reconciliation with her former beau Justin Bieber, but it appears the track wasn't even written for the 'Spring Breakers' actress in the first place... with reports that it was initially expected to feature on Rihanna's 'Talk That Talk' album. The 20-year-old is preparing to release her new album later this year and premiered the lead single, 'Come & Get It' earlier this month. However, the revealing lyrics led many to believe that Selena wasn't quite over her failed romance with 'Beauty and a Beat' singer Justin and was hoping for a reconciliation. Lyrics include: “You ain’t gotta worry it’s an open invitation, I’ll be sittin’ right here real patient. All day all night I’ll be waitin' standby, can’t stop because I love it, hate the way I love you.” However, it appears that the catchy song wasn't even written specifically for Selena as it has emerged that the track was intended for Rihanna 2011 chart-topping record, 'Talk That Talk,' but it didn't make the final tracklisting. Bradley Stern of MuuMuse.com claims that the track was written by Ester Dean and produced by Stargate, who have produced some of Rihanna's most popular tracks including 'What's My Name,' 'S&M,' 'Rude Boy' and 'Only Girl (In The World).'If the track was indeed written for Rihanna, it's possible that the single was written with her turbulent relationship with boyfriend Chris Brown, as the subject. While the couple are now happily reunited, it's now no secret that the pair were pining after each other when he was dating model Karrueche Tran, around the time the song was supposedly penned. Now that's a shocker! Do you think the song would have suited Rihanna better? Listen to Selena's 'Come & Get It'...
