The countdown has ended. American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson has dropped her brand and awaited new single “Heartbeat Song“, released on January 12, 2015. Fans rejoy!
The song was written by Kelly Clarkson, Audra Mae, Kara DioGuardi, and Jason Evigan. It’s confirmed as the lead single taken from her seventh studio album “Piece by Piece“, released in 3 March 2015 via RCA Records.
She returns with batteries loaded with her classic and effective pop-rock sound. The essence of Clarkson in a harmless and catchy production reminds others of her hits singles like “My Life Would Suck Without You“, but a little watered down.
Most critics say the new single is blatantly inspired by Jimmy Eat World classic track “The Middle“, released in 2001.
The music video directed by Marc Klasfeld was premiered in full on 5 February 2015.
