Katy Perry headlined Day 1 of the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday (September 20). During her short set, John Mayer's girlfriend delivered the second live performance of her #1 hit "Roar", as well as the first of new iTunes countdown single, the Juicy J-assisted "Dark Horse". Watch below! I know she's only performed it once, but I'm already bored of the ring box performance for "Roar". More creativity please?. I hope she comes with something different for her upcoming iTunes Festival concert in London. Katy did "Roar" kind of okay, but it was her debut live performance of "Dark Horse" which stole all the spotlight for me. This pop-meets-urban track is growing on me!. I approve this not being 'official single', though. But I'm liking it as an album track. Katy's vocals were strong, and Juicy J's verse was fun.
