American rapper Kendrick Lamar is back. After scoring a “Best Rap Performance” GRAMMY award for his latest single “i“, the artist embraces his heritage while addressing the racial tension in America in his new track “The Blacker the Berry“.
With a sound totally opposed to his last and acclaimed single, the rapper shows his most demanding and aggressive side in this new track produced by Boi-1da and Terrace Martin.
The song is confirmed as the second taste taken from his upcoming sophomore studio album, scheduled to be released sometime this year via Top Dawg, Aftermath, and Interscope.
