Kelly Clarkson doesn’t have her slim figure back yet so I guess that’s why the director of the “Heartbeat Song” music video opted to develop a treatment where the music star had to appear not very much.
“Heartbeat Song” is the lead single from Kelly’s upcoming seventh studio album “Piece by Piece” which will be released in March via RCA Records. The song is very radio-friendly, but upon hearing it many times I just can’t fully love it. I like the verses, and the bridge but the chorus is a bit of an anti-climax and the melody does get a bit annoying with time. Oh damn, me not adoring a Kelly Clarkson lead single? This is crazy.
