Harlem-rapper Azealia Banks doesn’t rest a moment and still in the middle of a strangely pecualiar promotion of her debut album “Broken With Expensive Taste“, released on 6 November 2014 via Prospect Park.
While waiting for the promised premiere of the video for the song “Wallace“, and whileher last official single “Chasing Time“ continues to rise in airplay, it seems some American radios have started to spin “Ice Princess” as next promotional single.
“Ice Princess” was produced by araabMUZIK, which sampled “In the Air” by Morgan Page, released in 2012. The song was written by Azealia Banks, Kevin James, and Jonathan Harris. It’s like a hip-hop take on Page’s dance smash.
Banks confirmed the track as her next single on Twitter on 1 February 2015 announcing that she will record the official video in Canada. We believe that this song has a high potential, besides being one of the favorite tracks of many fans.
On the other hand, the “212” rapper has been working in the studio with Dr. Luke, Cirkut and Rock City, on new songs that could be part of her awaited mixtape “Fantasea II: The Second Wave” or her second studio album, that might be called “Business & Pleasure“, planned to be released in 2016.
