Lifetime’s upcoming TV movie “Babysitter's Black Book” uses Avril’s “Give You What You Like” (from her 2013 self-titled fifth album) as theme music for one of its scenes and the network offered the Canadian singer money should she agreed to shoot an official music video for the song which they would use as ‘promo’ for the film as it would have to feature plenty of footage from the romantic-drama “Babysitter's Black Book”. Avril said yes, and the result can be watched below:
The amount of footage from the movie is ridiculous. But hey, they paid for the MV so it’s all okay I guess.
When we don’t see the stars of “Babysitter's Black Book” getting their 'drama' on, there’s Avril Lavigne in black singing the touching ballad in a somber living room filled with small candles and a guitarist playing his instrument at a corner.
Simple video, but it attacks the right emotions!
