Not many artists can say they’ve performed the same song twice on Ellen DeGeneres’ hit daytime show. Canadian singer-songwriter and ‘deep house’ queen Kiesza can.
Last year during the prime days of “Hideaway”, Kiesza performed the hit song live on “The Ellen Show”. It was the moment she could really say “I’ve made it in America”. Now a few months later (Jan. 27), the pale skin songstress has returned to the show to be a musical guest once again. Watch our girl Kiesza in action below:
She kicked off her 4-minute performance with a stripped-down, piano rendition of her stunning song “Sound of a Woman”, taken from her debut studio album of the same name. It seems then “Sound of a Woman” has been picked as the next official Kiesza single for the US (yey?).
She then followed it up with…yes, “Hideaway”. She performed this damn song again. Excuse my English. It’s not that I “hate” this song, it’s just that I think it’s time has SERIOUSLY passed. I’ve heard it so much in the last few months, my mind is saying; “ENOUGH”. Why performing it again on “Ellen”, though? You already did “Hideaway” like four months ago, gurl! She could’ve taken this opportunity to delight the US crowd with another track off her debut album; “No Enemiesz” for instance! Anyhow, Kiesza slayed. She eats up the stage everytime
