On February 8th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the Recording Academy will be awarding and acknowledging artists who have come up big in 2014 with the 57th annual Grammy Awards. Today (Dec. 5th) we receive the nominations for each of the 83 Grammy Awards to be presented.
The nominations for Album Of The Year are going to be announced on a CBS show airing tonight at 9 pm EST called 'A Very Grammy Christmas'. Names like Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, Maroon 5, and Pharrell are listed to perform on the hour-long special. As for the other award nominations, Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, John Legend, Beyoncé, and others have all been selected for the opportunity to go home with a Grammy.
The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be airing on CBS on February 8th. As always, a majority of the awards will be given away during the pre-telecast ceremony but the "higher priority" ones will come during the live telecast. The host of the show has yet to be announced.
