And The MØ Snub Continues! Iggy Azalea Performs "Beg for It" Solo On "Jimmy Fallon"

The expected low first-week sales of “Reclassified” (around 11k copies) isn’t bringing Iggy Azalea down. The Australian rapper keeps on promoting the lead single off “The New Classic” re-pack on American television. Last night (Nov. 26), she was on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” on NBC. This is Iggy’s third televised performance of “Beg for It” after “Saturday Night Live” and the 2014 American Music Awards.
And the MØ snubbing continues! Island Records isn’t really forgiving the Danish singer for ruining the debut TV performance of “Beg for It” on SNL, huh? MØ is sort of a newcomer and this major US television exposure would have come really handy for her career. She must be really pissed. And Iggy’s not even keeping her studio vocals for the new “Beg for It” live performances as MØ’S vocals have now been replaced by those of two back-up singers! Poor MØ. I feel really bad for her. This could’ve been her big US breakthrough.
Iggy’s last night “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” performance hot nonetheless. She looked ghetto-glamorous, she strutted like a diva and she definitely SOLD the new single. I do love “Beg for It” and the entirety of “Reclassified” so I’m really sad it’s going to be a flop. Only 11,000 copies expected to be sold in the first week? Come on!
