Although MTV is mainly known for presenting music (and reality shows), they do show love to the film world with their annual MTV Movie Awards show. This year’s show is taking place tonight on April 13th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California and will be hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien.
Plenty of stars in the building and on the red carpet but only a select few will be responsible for providing musical entertainment. Those who are slated to hit the stage include artists such as Eminem, Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, Zedd, and American duo Twenty One Pilots. Nicki Minaj is also in attendance and unfortunately will not be performing but does have the duty of presenting an award.
Eminem and Rihanna gracing the stage at the 2014 Movie Awards will mark the first live performance of their Billboard chart topper ‘The Monster’. Ellie Goulding and electronic music producer Zedd are set to hit the stage together as well to perform ‘Beating Heart' and 'Find You’ while Twenty One Pilots will treat attendees to ‘Car Radio’.
