Mariah Carey will 'Beyoncé' her 14th studio album. Wait, is 'to Beyoncé' now a verb? Yes, it is. It means to unexpectedly release your new much-anticipated album on iTunes. And that's what Mariah will do next. However, hasn't her genius team realized this won't be a surprise anymore as MiMi has already spilled the beans? The music diva is featured on the latest issue of 'Billboard' magazine, available now in newsstands across the U.S. Mariah pulls back her hair in the black and white cover. Mariah's full magazine spread hasn't surfaced yet, but the headlines about the singer's 'feature' shown on Billboard's shop website already gives much information: After waiting five years between albums, Mariah Carey finally explains the personal struggle behind her all-at-once digital release, from that Idol debacle ('bamboozled') to a need for 'uplifting' music: 'It's all been a blur' Don't Mariah's team know the key part of Beyoncé's much-successful surprise iTunes release was to not talk about it at all. Now that we know Mariah plans to do it, there's no hype anymore. Plus, how is this going to be an 'all-at-once digital release' if we have already heard three tracks from the album? *cringes* "#Beautiful" was a moderate hit, but the follow-ups 'The Art of Letting Go' and 'You're Mine' were complete chart disasters. Mariah better have recorded super great tracks during this 'delays' period. Her career just won't take a major album flop.
