U2 Perform "Invisible" & "Ordinary Love" on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon"

Legendary rock band U2 was the first musical act to perform on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on NBC on Monday's series premiere (Feb. 17). Jay Leno has been given the boot, and Jimmy Fallon's "Late Night" has been promoted to prime time's "Tonight" in order to "attract a younger audience". The entirety of U2 was first interviewed by Jimmy Fallon (with last night's other guest, Will Smith, sitting to their side) and during their chit-chat, U2 and Co. delivered an acoustic performance of "Ordinary Love", the U2 song part of the biography film "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" which is nominated as "Best Original Song" at the upcoming 2014 Oscars. The Bono-led band are so going to win.



  As the Jimmy Fallon's first "Tonight" episode came to an end, U2 took the rooftop of 30 Rockefeller Plaza to perform for the first time on television their new official single "Invisible", a Danger Mouse-produced track that is said to be the first single from U2's upcoming 13th studio album. Danger Mouse is the executive producer.
