Ellie Goulding lends her singing talent to the soundtrack of sci-fi film "Divergent". Directed by Neil Burger, the first part of the trilogy opens in US theaters on March 21. Besides letting a few of her "Halcyon" tracks be added to the soundtrack (Ellie's music apparently is a perfect match for the theme of "Divergent), Ellie has recorded a brand new song especially for it. It's called "Beating Heart", and it was world premiered on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show at night time on Monday, February 24th. Listen below!So good. I've said it many times before, but I don't get tired of repeating it. Ellie Goulding simply cannot make bad music. "Beating Heart" features a relaxing synth-pop production, lyrics indicate this will play on a "farewell" scene between the two "Divergent" stars, and of course, Ellie's vocals are just "from another world". That chorus is beast!
