Lea Michele stopped by “The Ellen Show” on its Thursday, December 12th episode to promote her new single “Cannonball” with a live performance, but also had a sit-down interview with Ellen. Lea's first since the passing away of Cory Monteith. Lea discussed coping with the sentiments of sadness and loneliness during the first days after the death of Cory. Lea thanked her family's support, as well as friend Kate Hudson's who opened for Lea the doors of her house to "escape" from the media and public eye. Lea also expressed how she felt during her appearance at the Teen Choice Awards, and filming the tribute episode in memory of Cory on "Glee". Last but not least, Lea performed for the first time ever her Sia-written power ballad “Cannonball”, the first single from her upcoming debut album “Louder” which is scheduled to hit stores on February 28th, 2014 (Columbia Records).
