After celebrating the 40th anniversary last year, the American Music Awards made their annual return earlier tonight (Nov. 24th) on ABC. The star-packed show was held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and 4-time nominee Pitbull took care of hosting duties. Katy Perry opened up the awards with 'Unconditionally' and Miley Cyrus closed it out in cat-friendly fashion with a performance of her hit single 'Wrecking Ball'. From Taylor Swift to Avicii, the Nokia Theatre was filled with A-list names tonight but only a select few had the opportunity to hit the stage. Those who did get to perform include artists like Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore, One Direction, Ariana Grande, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, and more.
