Epicness! Katy Perry headlined the "We Can Survive: Music for Life" charity concert held at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (Oct. 23). All proceeds from this sold-out event are going to Young Survival Coalition. For the last song of her set, which evidently was her new single "Roar", Katy brought on stage the concert's previous performers; Bonnie McKee, Sara Bareilles, Ellie Goulding, Tegan and Sara, and Kacey Musgraves to give the Dr. Luke-produced record an extra dosis of female empowerment. It was all sorts of amazing! It especially cool watching Katy and Sara sharing a stage and performing "Roar" together, after all the comparisons with "Brave". Video below. All girls sounded and looked good, with the, peculiar, exception of headliner Katy Perry. She sounded okay too, but that dress she wore last night was a "no, no". Wonder if any of the girls talk to Katy backstage about recording a duet for their next albums?. Ha. A long shot, indeed, but I were them I would have seized this not-very-frequent opportunity.
