She rose to international fame for writing the club smash "I Love It" for Icona Pop, but Charli XCX is also a professional singer herself, and in fact, the English lady released her debut album "True Romance" in April this year. The album didn't perform so well on the UK charts, but after the explosion of "I Love It", Charli's label, Warner Music, has new hopes for the 21-year-old. She's currently recording her sophomore album, and although that won't probably arrive in stores 'til early 2014, the first single can already be heard! "Super Love" is Charlie XCX's new single. The song couldn't be more catchy, and perfect. It's pop and it's retro. It's a bop and lyrics are as real as can be. You know when you've found that super love, that sometimes becomes a drug that you can't easily detach from, because you just can't get enough of it?. Well, that's the issue Charli XCX sings about on her new single, in a more catchy, rhyme-y way, of course. The only bad news?. "Super Love" won't be released in the UK 'til December 2. What kind of epic fail is that?. Released simultaneously with the audio, check out above the music video premiere for "Super Love". The clip was directed by Ryan Andrews and filmed in Tokyo, Japan. In it, we see a flawless-looking Charli XCX wandering the Tokyo streets, performing at a colorfully-lighted club alongside sexy girls and robots, and being courted by a bike gang.
