Lady Gaga's first single from her upcoming "ARTPOP" album will be titled "Applause." The singer uploaded the song's official artwork to Twitter on Sunday. Last week, Gaga was spotted signing the bottom of the "Applause" cover art. She covered the image with her hand, but now the full cover can be seen in all its glory. A close-up of Gaga's face is buried in some costume. Her head is outlined in black while blue covers her eyes and orange is smudged around her mouth. On the bottom edges of the '80s-inspired artwork, Gaga's signature and the "Applause" title are drawn on. The single is officially coming soon! Gaga is set to debut "Applause" on August 19. This past week, it was announced that she will also perform her single at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 25. The song will be the first from Gaga's third studio album, "ARTPOP," which will be in November as a record and an interactive app.
