Bonnie McKee continues to forge a new path as a pop diva to be reckoned with after writing a string hits for superstars like Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Ke$ha. The bubbly 29-year-old unveiled her debut single “American Girl” with a star-studded video last week and she is already promoting it with a live performance in the 102.7 KIIS FM studio.
Bonnie does a great job with the perky pop anthem, hamming it up in jean shorts and a leather bra. She’s obviously been waiting to do her own thing for some time and the fashion-forward songsmith is making every moment count. It was also a treat to hear her perform some of the tracks she gave away and realize how much of her personality has been injected into those songs.
