
In the name of Leo, Beyoncé and André 3000 linked up to cover Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black”, and tonight Mark Ronson premiered the result of their efforts during his East Village Radio program (fun fact: Ronson co-wrote the song with Winehouse). It’s an intriguing take on the sultry number, featuring a soft pulse of dub underneath the syrupy sing-talk of André and breathy croon ala Marilyn Monroe/Betty Boop from Queen B.
