The universe works in such strange ways. Just an hour ago, we were enjoying the 10 best Whitney Houston performances and now, we’re about to watch a pre-taped performance by Rihanna on the French show La Meilleure Chanson de L’annee. What a striking contrast.
Rihanna’s La Meilleure Chanson performance of “Diamonds” was filmed on December 10th but only aired today so that she would have enough time to enjoy the holiday season with the people who matter most – Chris Brown and the hired photographers at a Lakers game. Thankfully, she sounded quite good so there is no need to throw lumps of coal or unsold copies of Rita Ora’s ORAalbum at Rihanna on the street.
