The return of Kanye West to the music scene is a fact. The American rapper, songwriter, record producer, film director, entrepreneur, and fashion designer is currently working in the studio on his highly-awaited seventh studio album and follow-up to his latest offer “Yeezus“, released in 2013.
The new album,”So Help Me God” is planned to be released later this year via Roc-A-Fella and Def Jam Recordings. During an interview with GQ, the multifaceted artist confirmed the track “All Day” as the first single for the album.
“All Day” is produced by Velous, the original leak included the guest collaboration of American hip-hop recording artist Travi$ Scott, however the final recorded version did not.
Kanye West premiered the final version live at The BRITS 2015 on 25 February 2015. “All Day” was then premiered in full via Hot 97FM radio on 2 March 2015, featuring an extended ending featuring both Allan Kingdom and Theophilus London.
The song uses a sample of a Paul McCartney whistle outro that they redid for “All Day“. It released onto digital retailers late on 2 March 2015.
The music video directed by Steve McQueen is scheduled to be released next week. Following the premiere during Paris Fashion Week, the video surfaced online on 8 March 2015. At the end, West includes a new untitled track from the album.
