New Music: Lil' Wayne (feat. Drake) - 'Believe Me'

Young Money caught all fans of Lil' Wayne and Drake by surprise when they dropped on Friday night (May 2) the first single from Weezy's forthcoming album 'Tha Carter V'. Produced Boi-1da and Vinylz, 'Believe Me' can be streamed below. Interesting. A pretty toned down track. And I was expecting them to come out with something a little louder. I like it. It sounds like a real urban hit. The Boi-1da and Vinylz beat is incredible, and makes a great 'wrapper' to 'Believe Me'. In the lyrics, both Drake and Lil' Wayne talk about how powerful and wealthy they can be. Drizzy raps: "On the road, I do One Direction numbers, I don't fuckin' miss" (Directioners won't agree, though), while Weezy boasts about: "Diamonds in my Rollie face, cannot be exfoliated". lil wayne green hoodiedrake peace sign 'Tha Carter V' hasn't an established release date yet. But expect it to drop unexpectedly like this song did. You'll see! There was an artwork leaked recently, but Wayne' rep denied it was the real cover of 'Tha Carter V', although Kobe Bryant was the leaker. Also, it all points out this will be Wayne's last album before retirement (for real).
