'The One Thing' isn't an official single yet...but you can bet it will. 'Empire' is Shakira's current single, but the epic ballad is climbing really slow on the charts despite all the promo the Colombian's singer done for it (music video, and many TV performances).How long till her team ditches 'Empire' and moves on to 'The One Thing'? This is just a hit waiting to happen! Everything about this particular song is glorious. Its force, the melody, the production, the lyrics and Shakira's singing and phrasing. Every-thing.
And Shakira, Tess Boyer and Kristen Merlin did the song justice last night on 'The Voice'. Great LIVE performance. Wonder why did her team approve for her to sing 'The One Thing' if this is clearly going to draw attention away from 'Empire'? Are they 'cooking' up something? Anyway, the US audience better get accustomed to this hit already.
