St. Louis rapper Nelly served as musical guest at the September 2nd episode of NBC's "The Today Show". Live from Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, Nelly and his gold mic treated his tens of fans (he certainly didn't break any crowd record) with the worldwide debut of his new single "Heaven" featuring UK up-and-coming singer Daley, who was present for the 'Today' performance on Monday. You can also listen to the studio version of "Heaven" below, which Republic Records generously uploaded on YouTube. Besides debuting new music (which unfortunately doesn't sound so good. "Heaven" is a snoozefest), Nelly truly got the party started when he rocked the stage with a 'hits medley' featuring his hot urban single "Get Like Me", and the classics, "Hot In Herre" and "Ride Wit Me". Nelly had another ace up his sleeve though apart of his hits. Ashanti's ex also performed on 'Today' the monster country-rap smash "Cruise", with the help, of course, of Florida Georgia Line. Thank Goodness Nelly changed the boring course of his set, because some fans got sleepy of the boredom 'cause of "Heaven" earlier. Nelly's new studio album, simply titled "M.O", drops in US stores on September 30.
