Video Premiere: Taylor Swift's 'Everything Has Changed' Ft. Ed Sheeran
Taylor Swift releases a music video for her latest single "Everything Has Changed" that features Grammy-nominated singer Ed Sheeran. Featuring vague guitar and distant drum sounds, the ballad is taken from Swift's newest studio album "Red".
It revolves around two kids depicted as best friends. They are inseparable at school eating lunch together in the playground and staring in school play. In an adorable scene set in a music room, he's strumming his guitar while she's sitting at his feet and looking adorably at him.
The girl resembles the country/pop singer with her long blonde wavy hair and summery dresses, and the boy looks a lot like the British artist with his freckled face and curly red hair. The storyline could likely spark curiosity about the nature of their relationship.
However, before anyone could jump into conclusion, the two kids are seen running separately to their parents near the end of the video. Swift hugs her daughter and Sheeran embraces his son. The two stars share a knowing look before parting.
Sheeran once said that "music videos should revolve around the song rather than the artist." That's why he didn't appear in his video. "I've managed to get it to rub off on Taylor now, because the next song that she's releasing is our single, and we're not in the video either," he said.
